I was chatting with a friend on facebook earlier in the week and she was asking if the Cards were going to win this Sunday. I was thinking, they are coming off a depressing loss and they are on the road. Yep, that adds up to a victory. I mean thats been the season, they get embarrassed at home and then go on the road and open up a can of whoop-ass. And they did against the Bears Sunday, winning 41-21. What ever, Warner had a great game and showed why he is one of the best QB’s in the league. From raisingzona.com; ”Kurt Warner. He threw 5 touchdowns for the second time in his career. The last time was in October 1999, marking the longest period of time between 5 TD games in NFL history. I didn’t find that stat. NBC did. Amazing where they find this stuff.”But thats not all to be proud of Cards fans, the running game looked awesome. Which is no coincidence the passing game was so good. From revengeofthebirds.com; ”The running game did their job and produced solid numbers against the Bears defense. They amassed 182 rushing yards on the ground, making it easily their season high. The combination of Beanie Wells and Tim Hightower are proving to be successful.” If we could play the rest of the season on the road we could win out.
