Suns Win In OT. Defeat The Rockets.

Posted by buddha On February - 1 - 2010

That was a tough win. Nice and scrappy, got some stops when we needed and got a W on the road. I was getting that sick feeling in my stomach when we lost that lead. I’m sure every one watching thought we had blown another lead and the game. However the Phoenix Suns have discovered a little bit of toughness and won 115-111. The Rockets. What a crazy team. Their two star players have been out all season and they have a record almost as good as ours. Amare Stoudemire had a great game with a season high 36 points and 11 rebounds. If the Suns make a trade, those are the kind of numbers they need to think about. From valleyofthesuns.com;

“I don’t know if he’s finally come to terms with the likelihood of being traded, if he’s playing for his trade value, or if Gentry’s fourth quarter benching really did light a fire under him. But I do know that he scored a season-high 36 points, the most he’s scored since putting up 42 against the Clippers in his last game before eye surgery on Feb. 18, and 11 rebounds, making this his first double-digit board game since Jan. 15 and only his fifth in the past 20 games (the other four came in a five-game span).”

The Suns face the Hornets tonight. The Hornets are going to be without Chris Paul who suffered a left knee injury that will probably require surgery. Who knows when he’ll return. So see, things aren’t so bad Suns fans. Hey has anybody tried PepSi Throwback? It’s good stuff.
